The hit Apple TV+ series stars Jason Sudeikis as a sweet American football coach who moves to London and takes over the struggling AFC Richmond team. Despite his lack of experience and folksy optimism, Ted's kind spirit helps him win over the players and fans of the club. The show's real-world locations in England are as picturesque as the characters themselves, and a few of them even offer the chance for fans to visit and get a taste of life on set.
For example, the quaint street on which Ted lives is actually Paved Court in Richmond, and the pub he and Coach Beard frequently frequent is The Prince's Head, a popular local that's been open for 300 years. In fact, the pub has gotten so popular that it teamed up with Airbnb to allow fans of the show to spend the night.
Another big spotting spot on the show is Selhurst Park, where AFC Richmond plays their games. Though the team is supposed to play at Liverpool's Goodison Park, the production company went with the much closer Craven Cottage, home of the Championship club Fulham FC.
Fans interested in visiting other AFC Richmond filming locations will find many of the training ground and office scenes filmed at West London Studios, which is located next to the real Hayes and Yeading United Football Ground. However, the exteriors of AFC Richmond's SkyEx Community Stadium and its pitch are filmed at Hayes and Yeading United's real home field, Selhurst Park.
