According to a report from TVLine, most of the show's exterior scenes were filmed in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. The town is home to several recognizable locations, including the quant Main Street and Fred's Fish & Game. However, it's also where a few more prominent locales were used to create the fictional town of Iron Lake.
Most of the interior scenes were filmed on the sound stages at New England Studios. Located in Fort Devens, around 30 miles from Boston, the studios have been used for numerous television shows and movies over the years. They currently house four soundstages, which are around 18,000 square feet each. Popular shows such as 'Castle Rock,' 'Boston Legal,' and 'The Society' have all been filmed there in the past.
