Apple TV+ is stepping in the ring of streaming giants like Netflix and Amazon with its roster of original series. One of the network's newest offerings is heartwarming Trying, which stars Esther Smith and Rafe Spall as a couple who discover they can't conceive and begin the adoption process instead. With a series finale that left fans on the edge of their seats, the show is sure to have fans talking.
Luckily, for those who've yet to see the episode, it appears as though the finale was filmed in London, as the pair head to court to hear about their fate. As a result, it's easy for viewers to assume that the scenes took place in the capital city, but in reality, several locations around the country served as backdrops.
Some of the main locations for the season's finale include Rooster & The Crow, which was a real restaurant created by two best friends and serves Southern fare. The cliffs and caves used for the traveling scenes were filmed at Rockwood Conservation Area, which has limestone cliffs and caves in Ontario near Guelph. The colorful tent village used for the scene was a set built at Tommy Thompson Park, an urban natural park on a narrow peninsula on Lake Ontario.
In the episode, Belly and her debutante pals host a volleyball tournament to raise money for charity. The match was filmed at Capt'n Bill's Backyard Grill & Volleyball Facility in Wilmington, North Carolina, which features 10 different courts and offers leagues for all levels. The volleyball court also doubled as a location for Kygo's music video, "Hot Stuff," featuring Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes.
