Whitney Houston was a great singer and actress. Born in Newark, NJ in 1963, she rose to fame with hit songs such as "How Will I Know" and "I Wanna Dance with Somebody". Whitney also had a successful acting career, starring in movies like the 1992 classic, The Bodyguard, for which she also sang the lead soundtrack song, "I Will Always Love You". In 1992 Whitney married fellow singer Bobby Brown. They often recorded songs together, including the song "Something in Common". In 1993 they had a daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Tragically, Whitney and Bobbi Kristina suffered similar fates later in life. In 2012, Whitney was found unresponsive in her hotel bathtub. She was eventually pronounced dead on the scene, after multiple CPR attempts. Just a few years later in 2015, Bobbi Kristina sadly was found unresponsive in her bathtub. Although she didn’t initially pass away, she was placed in a medically induced coma, for which doctors informed the family she had little to no brain function. She tragically passed away a few months later. Although Whitney’s life ended too short, and tragically, her legacy will never be forgotten. Check out Whitney Houston’s house below.

Whitney Houston had multiple lavish homes during her life. She purchased this five bedroom, five bathroom home in 1987, and it most recently sold in 2014 for $1.5 million. It risked foreclosure two times in 2007, but was saved. The home features over 12,000 sq ft of space sitting on five acres, with a unique curved exterior. The interior also has curved walls and dome shaped skylights. The unique design also carries into the interior, with a sunken entertaining living space and open floor plan. This house is beautiful, hauntingly so.
