November 4, 2023

Angie Dickinson has carved an enviable niche for herself in the world of acting. Her dazzling performances on the big and small screen have earned her acclaim, fame, and substantial wealth. She is known for her versatility and ability to adapt to any kind of role. As of late, her net worth is estimated to be around $30 million.

Born Angeline Brown in Kulm, North Dakota, Angie Dickinson was raised in a Catholic family. Her father Leo Henry Brown was a newspaper editor and projectionist at the town's only movie theater. When Angie was 10, her family moved to California where she graduated from Bellarmine-Jefferson High School in 1947. Following high school, she enrolled in Immaculate Heart College and was planning to become a writer.

Dickinson's career in acting began on television with a series of anthology shows in the 1950s. She went on to appear in several more television serials, such as Gun the Man Down, Buffalo Bill, Broken Arrow, and the Western classic Rio Bravo. It was the latter that led to her breakthrough in movies. Her performance as a tough female cop in the TV series Police Woman helped her become one of the most well-known actresses in America.

In her personal life, Dickinson has been married twice. Her first marriage was with football player Gene Dickinson, which lasted from 1952 to 1960. She later married composer Burt Bacharach, with whom she has a daughter. She now lives in Beverly Hills with her two cats.
