Mr Lee’s most prominent venture was Cash App, which he founded in 2013 with Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter and Square. His brother, Lee David, is a venture capitalist who has backed companies like Airbnb and Pinterest. Lee was a philanthropist and donated to various causes in the Bay Area. He also owned several luxury properties, including a penthouse in San Francisco. He was a beloved figure in the tech world and his legacy will live on through his contributions to the industry and the city of San Francisco.
