If you’re the world’s most-watched soap opera, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that you travel quite a bit to film your episodes. B&B has taken on location shoots in locations all over the globe, including the United Arab Emirates, Paris, Amsterdam, Sydney and Puglia, Italy. And the Emmy-winning daytime drama is adding another stamp to its passport as it heads to Rome next month.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, seven cast members from the CBS soap opera will fly off to Rome to film a three-day location shoot May 15-17. This is the first time in over a decade that the show will return to the Eternal City, where they previously shot at Lake Como (1997), Venice (1999), Portofino (2002) and Puglia (2012).
This trip follows a recent Aspen, Colorado location shoot that saw Krista Allen (Brooke), Scott Clifton (Liam) and Kim Matula (Hope) head south to film scenes for the Liam/Steffy/Taylor triangle. And last September, the actors traveled to Cabo San Lucas to film a storyline that will air toward the end of the year.
Soap Opera Digest reports that B&B will also be returning to its home base of CBS Television City to tape some scenes. They will be shooting a storyline with Thorne Forrester (Ronn Moss) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). This is the second time that the two have crossed over from sister soap opera, The Young and the Restless. So, can we expect some major drama between the Forrester and Logan families this time around?
