Where is Claws Filmed?

After three seasons, TNT’s cheeky dark comedy series Claws has come to an end. Its final season aired in February 2022 and was a huge success for the network. The show centers on Desna Simms, owner of the Nail Artisans salon in Manatee County, Florida. She’s an associate of the Husser family, a pill mill family, and launders money for them. She’s also in a relationship with Roller Husser, the adopted son of her boss, Uncle Daddy.

While the show is set in Palmetto, Florida, most of it is filmed in New Orleans. The bustling city’s streets and the culturally diverse architecture offer a unique backdrop for the show. Moreover, the area around Gretna has several locations where scenes from the show have been shot. One such location is a shopping center in Westwego, where the exterior of Desna’s salon is seen.

Another location where Claws has been filmed is the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota. The location has appeared in numerous scenes on the series, including its season two premiere and a fight between Desna and Roller.
