The film Fatherhood stars Kevin Hart as Matthew Logelin, a father who loses his wife shortly after their daughter Maddy is born. The movie is based on the real-life memoir Two Kisses for Maddy and follows Matt as he struggles to give his child a happy life while also trying to cope with his own grief.

So, where was fatherhood filmed? The majority of the filming for Fatherhood was filmed in Boston and Montreal, Canada. Some of the scenes were filmed in downtown Boston including in the Seaport district, the Boston Children’s Museum, and the popular public park at 139 Tremont Street called Boston Common.
In addition, the home that Matt lives in was filmed at the Notre-Dame-de-Grace neighborhood of west Montreal. The exterior shots of the house can be seen in the trailer. Other locations in the city, such as commercial and residential areas were used for outdoor filming.
The final scene in the film, where Matt and Maddy are crashing a summer camp to give out free ice cream to kids, was shot at Pointe-Claire, Quebec.
