Where Is Michael Jackson's House?

Michael Jackson is known as the King of Pop. He was an iconic singer, songwriter, and dancer.  Born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, Jackson rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the Jackson 5. The group had hits such as "ABC", and "I'll Be There", until they broke up and Michael started his highly successful solo career. With amazing songs such as "Billie Jean", "Thriller", "Bad", and "Smooth Criminal", Jackson showcased not only his great vocals, but also his amazing dancing skills. Such as the moonwalk and also, the crotch grab. Sadly,  Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. The Final Home

Michael Jackson had many homes during his long running successful career. His final home was one that he had been leasing for $100,000 a month. He was renting the home from Ed Hardy owner Hubert Guez, and most recently sold for $18.5 million in 2012. Located in Los Angeles, CA, and built in 2002, this home features seven bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. Spread out over 17,171 sq ft of space, this massive property has so many luxurious amenities. From a large stone courtyard, complete with a water fountain. A stone exterior, gorgeous hedges, and a pristine foyer. Inside the home there is classic hardwoods, custom built-ins, wood carved fireplaces, and classic crown molding.

The backyard of this final home includes stone steps that lead all the way out to the backyard. With multiple mature trees, perfect landscaping, and a gorgeous outdoor patio.

Neverland Ranch

Probably the most famous of Michael Jackson's houses is Neverland Ranch. The ranch was built in 1982, and Michael lived there from 1988 to 2005. Featuring six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, with over 12,000 sq ft of space. With a large property like that, there is so much room for amenities. Such as an amusement park, a meditation garden, a Peter Pan statue, as well as a tennis court and pond.

The Last Vegas Rental

For a period of time, Michael Jackson had rented this Las Vegas house. It was last listed for sale in 2016 for $9.5 million. Originally built in 1996, the home features seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, with a massive 22,259 sq ft of space. It is also known as the Thriller Villa, which makes perfect sense.

Before Michael Jackson was living on Neverland Ranch, and hopping from one mansion to the next, he grew up in a modest home in Gary, IN. The house features two bedrooms, and just one bathroom, with 876 sq ft of space. The home was built in 1949 and features black fencing, an attached garage, and a concrete walkway to the front of the door.

 

Jackson Family Home

After moving from the home he lived with his family since he was born, the Jackson family moved to Los Angeles, and into this beautiful, Mediterranean home. Originally built in 1927, the family purchased the home in 1977 for $175,501. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and over 3,000 sq ft of space.
