William Paca was a politician. He was born on October 31, 1740, in Abington, Maryland, and had one brother and five sisters. William was the son of a wealthy planter whose name was John Paca. He was the 3rd Governor of Maryland. Mr. William served in that position from 1782 to 1785. Also, he was recognized as the Signer of the Declaration of Independence. Mary Chew was his wife, with whom he married on May 27, 1763. The couple also had three children. William Paca passed away at the age of fifty-eight. He died on October 13, 1799. Its architectural style was Georgian, and the architect was William Pacca himself.
