Check Out Lala Kent's New House(s)

April 7, 2024

Lala Kent shot to fame(ish) on season four of Vanderpump Rules. Right away she caused a lot of chaos on the show, and was a love to hate character. This was mainly because she had a tendency to "eviscerate" fellow cast members with her words, while also bragging about "giving BJs for PJs." As the season passed, and her relationship to film producer Randall Emmett went public, Lala attempted to rebrand her image as a bit softer and all around positive. When that relationship blew up in the media due to Randall being an all around douche and borderline (alleged, of course) Harvey Weinstein, Lala went back to being the old Lala. The angry, screaming, holier than thou Lala. During the height of Scandoval,  Lala went overboard with her public ire towards Tom Sandoval. Most likely equating her personal pain towards Randall to the pain that Tom caused Ariana. Well, that didn't seem to last long because when cameras picked back up for the current season, Lala decided on yet another rebrand. This time she was going to come off as "the voice of reason." She was no longer angry poof no more anger, and in fact, she was going to become friends with Tom, while weirdly throwing non stop shade at Ariana. Being a controversial and sometimes toxic personality on a reality show may have its downsides. However, it also has its upsides. Like being able to afford multiple homes. Let's take a look at some of Lala Kent's houses below.

(not so) Humble Beginnings

Lala's childhood home in Utah has been on the market for the last few years. Currently it's priced at $895,000 and features six bedrooms and four bathrooms, spread out over 4,620 sq ft of space. The front of the home is quite charming, with a pretty landscaped lawn and garden. There is also a Juliette balcony sitting directly above the balcony. The interior of the home has soaring high ceilings in the foyer, as well as classic pillars.

The $1.3 mil Palm Springs Pad

After the Randall Scandal, Lala had to pick herself up and start her life over. Luckily for her, Scandoval provided her the opportunity to hawk her "Send it to Darrell" merch. Which in turn got her the down payment for her Palm Springs house. Which happens to be right best to her VPR bestie, Scheana Shay.

The three bedroom, three bathroom desert home has 2,315 sq ft of space. Since it's located in the desert climate of Palm Springs, it only makes sense that there is also a small pool in the iron fence in the backyard. The living room also opens up entirely to the backyard pool area. The home itself sits in a gated community, with incredible mountain views. Despite just buying a home in the San Fernando Valley, Lala has no plans to sell this Palm Springs oasis. And honestly, I don't blame her. She seems to find herself in hot water from time to time so I'm sure she finds comfort in having an escape pad.

The $3.1 mil New Home

On February 1, 2024 Lala purchased this home in Sherman Oaks for $3.1 million. The home, which features seven bedrooms and six bathrooms and more than 5,000 sq ft of space, was built in 1947. The listing describes the home as "sitting on a quiet tree lined street", which I'm sure Lala also appreciates. It's also gated, which provides some extra security. The main house has five bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. There is also a guest house which has two beds and two baths.

The main house features high ceilings and skylights, and an oversized glass slider which creates a great indoor/outdoor space. The backyard has a pool, kitchen, and a sports court. I know Lala is on an anti Ariana publicity tour currently, but VPR viewers are starting to turn on her for it so she may want to start quieting down. After all, she now has two multi-million dollar homes to keep up with and can't really afford to get kicked off her only source of income.
