William Penn was a well-known English writer. Furthermore, he was also a Colonial proprietor of Pennsylvania. He was born in London, England, on October 24, 1644, to his parents, Sir William Penn and Margaret Jasper. He married twice. Gulielma Maria Springett was his first wife. In 1696, he tied the knot with his second wife, Hannah Callowhill Penn. William Penn, the founder of Philadelphia, passed away at seventy-three. William Penn once lived in Morrisville, PA. Morrisville is a beautiful place in Pennsylvania. Furthermore, Morrisville is located in Bucks County.

The house had more than one bedroom and one bathroom with over 1,000 square feet of space. It's famous as "Pennsbury Manor." The English writer resided here from 1699 to 1701. It served as his summer home. Furthermore, the mansion is made up of bricks. It has an elegant exterior and offers water views. There are many windows throughout the residence, ensuring, it's bright and airy. The home was originally built in the 1680s. Moreover, this Colonial manor was recreated in the 1930s.

The tremendous estate boasts an amazing design.  Also, it includes beautiful sprawling grounds. Inside, you'll find wooden floors, nice bedrooms, dining space, old furnishings, etc. Also, there are portraits on the walls. In 1969, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
